The Humans
WHO: Heath & Kelsey
We are Heath [teacher] and Kelsey [journalist], two young adults learning how to live life and blogging about the process.
The blog is named after our little East Austin home we’ve dubbed the doodle house in honor of the rambunctious mutts who inhabit it.
Where: Austin, TX
We live in Austin, we work in Austin, and now we BLOG in Austin. The capital of Texas is rich in live music, spectacular events, diverse scenery and amazing people. In other words, wonderfully blogable.
WHAT: Design. Photography. Dogs. Gardening. City living.
While posts may take on various forms from time-to-time, for the most part this blog will serve to share the more exciting bits of life for those dwelling in the doodle house. We drink and dine, garden and go out, take photos and take trips. And it’s our pleasure and delight to share those adventures and antics with the world wide web.

Austin’s a great town! Am enjoying exploring your blog.
Found your blog via Freshly Pressed today and I just wanted to say hi and that I think your blog is lovely. And it’s also making me miss my hometown of Austin!
Good Luck to you both!
You remind me of my fiance and I. We are doing the same thing with our own blog in Brooklyn!
I really like your blog. I too, live in Texas, East Texas near Tyler to be specific.
I have started a new blog, mostly travel. It is called places-seldom-traveled.
