That’s right, we’re spending Christmas in India! We’re mostly going to be in the Kerala region but I know there will be PLENTY to see and do and EAT. We’ve got a running itinerary together already, but if any travelers out there have suggestions for what we should add to our agenda, let us know!

    The book I just finished reading, which I loved, had characters from there. Is that also the state in India that has the highest literacy rate, especially among women?

    Rob, my stepdad, goes to India several times a year. He always smuggles a small jar of bacon fat with him to add a little familiar flavor to some of the dishes. Don’t get me wrong…he loves Indian food, but he says his stomach can only handle so much “new” stuff. Food for thought…no pun intended. Oh yah, and have fun!!!
